Foodee is a growing Vancouver based startup that is changing the way offices eat. Foodee teamed up with Make to radically improve the front end experience of their brand new web based ordering system.
Foodee specializes in connecting their customers with delivery services to their cities best restaurants. They are currently taking their first steps towards expanding southwards with new offices in Austin, Denver and Philadelphia. Part of what has enabled this new growth and rapid expansion is the release of their brand new online tools. Foodee offers amazing customer service and up until the release of their new web platform, their concierges were doing a huge amount of leg work. That all changed when the new tools were released. Make partnered with Foodee to deliver a clean and stress free ordering platform. The frontend is based on a customized version of Foundation using SASS. We had a strict requirement to not utilize any javascript based animations for this project. So every transition and movement is accomplished through HTML5 and CSS3 animation. Our front end components also filled in the UX and provided Foodee’s backend engineering team with templates to use throughout their new ordering engine on.

Foodee's target audience is offices. They know that when it comes time to organize that epic annual board meeting, the last thing you want to worry about is the food. That's why we focused specifically on simplifying the ordering system and giving the user clear steps to order and checkout without any distractions.
